Our position on copyright complaints

IPTV America responds to valid takedown notices submitted under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512. If you're a copyright owner — or an agent authorized to act for one — and you believe material accessible through this website infringes your rights, you can ask us to remove it or disable access to it. We review every properly completed notice, act on it promptly, and keep a record of the complaint. Incomplete notices slow everything down, so please read the requirements below before you write in. This page covers what a valid notice looks like, where to send it, and what happens once it lands in our inbox.

Filing a copyright notice

For IPTV America to act on your notice, §512(c)(3) says it must contain six things:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed — or a representative list if there are several.
  3. The exact URL or a clear description of the material you want removed, detailed enough for us to locate it.
  4. Your contact details: name, address, telephone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Where to send your notice

Email your notice to IPTV America at help@catchontv1.email with the subject line "DMCA Notice" — that exact subject routes your message to the person who handles copyright complaints, so please don't improvise. Plain text in the body or a PDF attachment both work. We aim to acknowledge complete notices within two business days and to remove or disable access to the identified material promptly once we've confirmed the notice meets the requirements above. If something's missing — a dead URL, a forgotten signature — we'll reply to the contact details you gave us. For anything that isn't a copyright complaint, use our contact page instead.

Counter-notices

If material you supplied was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send IPTV America a counter-notice at the same email address. It needs your physical or electronic signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was an error, your name, address, and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address — or any judicial district where we may be found, if you're outside the United States. We'll forward it to the original complainant; unless they file a court action, the material may be restored within 10 to 14 business days.

Repeat infringement

IPTV America will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We log every valid notice we act on, and when the same account draws multiple substantiated complaints, we suspend or close it under the rules set out in our terms of service. Misuse cuts both ways, though: knowingly filing a false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages under §512(f), so don't submit one unless you're confident in your claim.
